Kazuya Hashimoto, born and raised in Japan, held close the quiet beauty of unembellished joy, His works feel like being held — loved, and gently hoped for. His works radiate a carefree balance of colors and animals, undoing the burden of complexity and disturbances.

일본 작가 카즈야 하시모토는 꾸밈없는 기쁨의 조용한 아름다움을 간직해왔다. 그의 작품은 마치 품에 안긴 듯한, 사랑받고 조용히 희망받는 듯한 감정을 불러일으킨다. 자연에서 영감을 받은 그의 작업은 색과 동물 사이의 걱정 없는 균형을 통해 복잡함과 혼란의 짐을 내려놓는다.

I always have something to say, “the urge to draw a picture”, every time in my heart.

The characteristic images of the artworks are decided in my mind. Especially, I stick to the color scheme. I catch a motif that is easy to understand, but it returns as unique and adorable in my arts.

It is easy to empathize with them, brightly and naturally in myself. Sometimes the motives of the paintings express ourselves. I also take animals such as whales, birds, cats and other creatures as a motif that I consider as my neighborhood.
