Sehee Kang

B.1989 Seoul, South korea

UCL Slade School of Fine Art and University of Leeds graduate Sehee Kang works across fine art, installation, and experimental material practices. Influenced by the contemporary art scene in the UK, her work explores the complexity and ambiguity of emotional processes through symbolic imagery, needles, and tactile forms. Mystical atmospheres and mythical creatures recur throughout her practice as narrative vehicles that visualize nonlinear experiences of healing, vulnerability, and transformation. Rather than forcing hope or resolution, Sehee approaches these emotional states as an ongoing artistic practice that embraces contradiction, uncertainty, and coexistence.

Sehee Kang’s expresses ambiguity and emotional complexity that are often simplified or separated through language.
